Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and NerdyDuck Labs Pvt Ltd (“NerdyDuck Labs”, “Wick”, “we”, “us”), a company incorporated in India and based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. They govern your use of the Wick mobile application and the wick.health website (together, the “Service”). By downloading, accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Health disclaimer — please read. Wick is a wellness and self-tracking tool for general informational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. The fasting stages, timings and scores Wick shows are general estimates and educational guidance, not clinical measurements. Intermittent fasting is not suitable for everyone — including people who are pregnant or breastfeeding, under 18, have diabetes or other metabolic conditions, take certain medications, or have a history of disordered eating. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, changing or stopping any fasting, diet or exercise routine, and seek immediate medical help if you feel unwell.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service and able to form a binding contract. By using Wick you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Your account
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. You may close your account at any time from within the app.
3. The Service
Wick helps you track fasts and view related insights such as stages, streaks and a Wellbeing score. We may add, change or remove features over time. We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but we don't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any insight will be precise for your individual circumstances.
4. Cost
Wick is completely free to use. We don't charge for the app, and there are no in-app purchases or subscriptions. If we ever introduce paid features in future, we'll update these Terms and make any costs clear before you pay.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights while using the Service;
- copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile or create derivative works from the Service, except where the law allows;
- interfere with, disrupt, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems;
- use the Service to build a competing product, or scrape or harvest data from it; or
- resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.
6. Your content
The fasting logs, notes and other information you enter remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the content you provide and confirm you have the right to share it with us.
Your raw health data stays on your device. The detailed readings Wick accesses from Apple Health or Google Health Connect are processed on-device and are not exported to our servers; only a coarse daily summary (sleep, steps, active energy and exercise minutes) and any weigh-ins you log are synced, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics and the Wick name and logo, is owned by NerdyDuck Labs or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Service for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
8. Third-party services
The Service works with third parties such as the app stores, Apple Health and Google Health Connect. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
9. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that results, stages or scores will be accurate or reliable for any particular purpose. See also the health disclaimer above.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NerdyDuck Labs and its directors, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NerdyDuck Labs from claims, damages and reasonable costs arising out of your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm us or other users, or as needed to comply with the law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law — will survive.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any rights you have under mandatory local consumer law, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service.
